These are hand thrown on the pottery wheel in brutalist clay and adorned with wild uku slip from Rangihoua on Waiheke Island.
This stunning dark red uku slip adds detail, texture and interest to these tumblers. They have been glazed in Hōrua, which is our bespoke dark brown satin glaze and double dipped in our signature style. Expect variations and a wildness. I have only made a handful of these.
These are a stout tumbler, around 7cm tall and 8cm wide
