These are hand thrown on the pottery wheel in wild uku (clay) hand harvested from Waiheke Ngāti Paoa whenua.
This is a blended clay with some uku from Rangihoua and some from Te Huruhi Bay, Waiheke Island.
These bowls are all unique and thrown off the hump. They have been glazed internally in our bespoke pōuriuri glaze which is a rich dark green satin colour
Sizes will vary from around 15cm-17.5cm wide and 5.5cm-7cm high.
10% of all wild uku sales will be donated to Piritahi Marae here on Waiheke, Ngāti Paoa whenua.
